Contact owner

We lead exciting and challenging bespoke treks and 4×4 tours for small groups through some of the most unexplored regions of Morocco and North-East India. Our itineraries are designed for spirited adventurers wishing to explore beyond regular tourist destinations, genuinely getting below the surface of the country.

What we do:
We listen closely to your wishes and help them to come true. We can recommend routes to you, of course, but we have no fixed programmes: we will discuss a wide range of possibilities with you but always encourage you to make the final choice of when and where you go, and for how long.

What makes us different?
Our company is founded upon the strength of our personal knowledge and experience, coupled with our personal relationships with some of the best trekking and tour guides in Morocco and India who themselves live in our specialist regions. We know, trust and respect every one of them through our own experiences of trekking and touring with them as our own guides on our own expeditions. We believe that this intimacy, in conjunction with our ethos and who we are, ensures that we stand apart from other companies in being able to provide you with the most individual of experiences.

Who we are
We are a small team of just two people based in the south of England. We first visited Morocco in 1979 and India in 1986 and have returned many, many times since. We are passionate in wanting to help others to enjoy wonderful times in these fabulous countries, as we ourselves continue to do.

Our director
Alan Palmer is author of Moroccan Atlas the Trekking Guide (Trailblazer Publications) and has contributed to two other guide books, Pakistan and The Silk Road, both published by Insight Guides. Additionally, he regularly writes articles for travel magazines, including Travel Africa, and delivers talks and presentations on both Morocco and North-East India at travel clubs and shows, both in England and abroad.

He is:

  • A Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society
  • A life member of the British Moroccan Society
  • Secretary of the 153 Club (Sahara)
  • A TripAdvisor Destination Expert for Morocco
  • A member of the Royal Society for Asian Affairs.

We would like to offer a free copy of our director’s own guide book, Moroccan Atlas the Trekking Guide, to all groups choosing to book one of our treks or tours through Safari Planner.
